Mayor of Stevenage visits Tier 2

The team at Tier 2 Consulting were delighted to welcome the Mayor of Stevenage, Councillor Sandra Barr, to celebrate the significant milestone of 20 years in business.

Madam Mayor joined Tier 2 at the Business and Technology Centre (BTC), Stevenage, alongside Councillor Maureen McKay, Member of the Environment and Economy Committee; and Councillor Lloyd Briscoe, Executive Member for Economy, Enterprise and Transport.

Esteemed guests from Stevenage Borough Council, who own the business centre, and managing agent Wenta, who run it, were also in attendance.

It was the vision of Stevenage Borough Council to create a quality business space and support in the heart of Stevenage’s business community, promoting innovation and supporting small and medium-sized businesses. Tier 2 Consulting has been based at the Business and Technology Centre (BTC) since its inception in 2002.

For us, the Business and Technology Centre (BTC) has been invaluable in making that start. “The BTC has helped incubate us, providing an affordable workspace for when we first began as a small business back in 2002 and continues to support us in our growth as a business. A huge thanks to all those people at the BTC that have supported us over the years; most recently Jo and the team. We are proud to call the BTC ‘home’.”
